So why a bear health website?

Well over the last thirty years the cub, chub, bear community has grown and grown, as a kind of counter-culture to the waxed, plucked, nipped and tucked commercial gay male stereotype. In major cities across the world there are bear/chub clubs and networks of big gay men enjoying life with each other and the chasers who love them.

Although there are a growing number of lgbt health websites, (including the webmasters own www.healthwithpride.com ) there are few sources which acknowledge the bear/chub/cub identity and cater to the health information needs of that group.

So we thought we'd give it a shot......
