The following organisations can offer one-to-one counselling for lesbian, gay and bisexual people, some of which are free and others of which operate low-cost or income-based sliding scale fees.

The Directory of Pink Therapists lists over 200 qualified counsellors and psychotherapists who work in a ‘sexually affirmative manner’ (www.pinktherapy.com)
The Association for Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Psychologies (ALGBP) also aims to support the development of gay affirmative psychotherapy and provide training and referral to gay affirmative therapists.
